Here are some of the capstone projects while I was pursuing my Masters degree at the Guildhall:

This is a single-player level created in the Quake 4 engine that focuses on giving players path choices that affect the playing experience. The player must navigate the maze in order to escape after being imprisoned there by an entity known as Madman Chew.

This is a Masters Thesis research project on techniques to create non-linear gameplay within confined playspaces. This is an extension of what was learned during the creation of the Mad Maze level above, with the goal of coming up with a set of design guidelines. A single-player level was created using the Source engine, that offers the player multiple ways to get through the level under the fictional context of securing incriminating evidence against an evil corporation.
